When I first started this journey, I had tried everything from the magic "weight loss pills" to skipping meals and crash workouts. None of it worked.... it just left me more frustrated so I gave up. I began to wear clothes that were a little baggy and could hide the weight gain. Eventually, I made the decision to take control of my life.
First step- eating healthy. I loved junk food, fast food and everything in between. Which tasted great but was not great for the waist line. I started watching what I ate and counting calories. I used free apps to track my food intake. I did not cut out all food, I still enjoyed my snacks and desserts, but in moderation. I started losing the weight but I still was not happy with myself.
Second step- I started working out. I set a routine around my chaotic schedule. I work 50+ hours a week and am working on finishing my doctorate. Who has time for a workout? I set a routine and stuck to it. Now, if I miss a day, I feel it and make sure to get it in later that day. I built a routine and stuck to it and now it's second nature.
I found partnership with being healthy and motivation from my coach/mentor and fellow coaches to build a better, healthier lifestyle. Now, I feel amazing, enjoy what I eat, have the energy back, and loving life. Join me on this adventure and let's get you on the right path!
